Dr. Michael Trombley, M.D., was born in Glen Falls, NY. He obtained his bachelor degree from St. Lawrence University in 1987 where he graduated as a Presidential Scholar and Magna Cum Laude. He obtained his medical degree from University of Rochester School of Medicine in 1991. He completed his residency in 1994 from Carolinas Medical Center Family Medicine where he served as Chief Resident.
From 1994-2007, he was a full time Physician at Cabarrus Family Medicine and also had associate faculty appointments with Duke Medical School and University of North Carolina Medical School. From 2007-2012, Dr Trombley practiced as a Family Physician at Lakeside Primary Care. Dr. Trombley has been a travel speaker for Abbott Laboratories, Astra Zeneca Pharmaceuticals, Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, and Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals as well as a Medical consultant for the Ace & TJ radio show in Charlotte, NC.
Dr. Trombley has been board certified in Family Medicine for 17 years and a Teacher/Faculty for Family Medicine for 8 years. He was also the Medical Director of Brian Center Rehabilitation Center of Concord for 8 years. Dr. Trombley is a 5 star physician on wellness.com and has received the Patient’s Choice Award, given to only 5% of NC physicians.
He is married to his wife, Michelle, and has four children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, health and fitness, and photography multimedia design.
